Day 01: Cairo – Alamein – Siwa Oasis

Pick up from your location in Cairo transfer to Siwa oasis Lunch en route, upon reaching Siwa, we tour the old Siwan

Shali Fortress

Shali Fortress in the Centre of Siwa is dominated by the ruins of the 13th-century Shali fortress.

Built from a material known as salt rocks from the local salt lakes and mud the ruins are subject to additional disintegration after each rainfall.

walk up to the top of the fortress to witness spectacular views of the oasis and its surroundings.

Fatnas Island

on the salt lake of Birket Siwa in a beautiful surrounding of palm trees – nice place for drink and sunset over the lake & sand dunes in the evening explore the town of Siwa and enjoy Siwan food back to your hotel overnight

Day 02: Siwa Oasis Full-Day Tour

Temple of the Oracle

the Temple of the Oracle is believed to have housed the famous Greek oracle of Jupiter Amun to which Alexander the Great headed directly when he came to Egypt for the first time in 331 BC. Reputedly it is believed that the Macedonian leader asked the oracle if he was going to rule the world

Gebel Al-Mawta

Gebel Al-Mawta in Arabic means Mountain of the Dead; it is a cone-shaped mount a little to the North of Shali Fortress, dotted with tombs from the 26th dynasty and the Ptolemaic period. Many of these tombs are still very well. from Gebel El-Mawta you can catch amazing views of Siwa.

Cleopatra’s Natural hot Spring

the most famous Natural spring in Siwa is Cleopatra’s pool, a stone pool fed by a natural hot spring where the Egyptian queen swam during her visit Enjoy swimming like Queen Cleopatra

The Great Sand Sea

Sand Sea is one of the largest dune fields in the whole world and contains some of the largest recorded sand dunes, Drive between the dunes till we arrive at the fossils area and see the rocky coral reefs which date to the Cambrian era. Then drive to one of the spring eyes in the middle of the desert (Shiataa Lake) and it is a good chance to watch the birds and swim in cold spring and enjoy the bath and relaxing atmosphere.

There is another chance to enjoy sand surfing in the desert. After that, it is time to drive to another hot spring which is called (Bir Wahed) stopping at one of the desert camps for a magical dinner under the stars B.B.Q near to the hot spring under the endless stars

Day 03: Siwa Day Tour

Dakrour Mountain

Where the yearly festival is in October. The name is often misunderstood as a reference to tourism but in fact, predates tourism
On this occasion, Siwi men meet together on a mountain Jabal Dakrour to eat together sing chants thanking God and reconcile with one another
the women & children celebrate with dancing singing and drum

The food for the festival is bought collectively with funds gathered by the oasis mosques
Healing The Dakrour Mountain which has been renowned for the healing qualities of its hot sands since ancient times, People come from all around Egypt
and the world during the summer months to be interred in sand baths which have properties of healing rheumatism.
The therapy is stunning; it has almost a magical effect, rheumatic and arthritic pains will be greatly dissipated.

Abu Shuruf

Spring in Siwa Oasis (Day to enjoy Swimming Healthy in Spring & Salt Lake )

Abu Shuruf, a clean spring said by locals to have healing properties in the next palm thicket. The clear water here

drive to Marsa Matruh to your hotel

Day 05 : Marsa Matruh / El Alamein / Cairo

Marsa Matrouh is one from amazing with long sandy white beaches and crystal clear waters, such as Agiba Beach and Gharam Beach, described by many as one of the most beautiful seashore landscapes in the world, many believe that Cleopatra herself bathed in the tranquil waters of Marsa Matrouh.

The reputed spot, Cleopatra’s Beach, is still accessible and you surely won’t miss it during your visit enjoy Swimming on any Beach you like

After lunch transfer to Cairo Via El Alamein WWII Museum and the war memorial,

continue to drive to Cairo.
